The 90,000 kWh plant by Safi Power will see over 500 tonnes of CO2 reduction in the course of its operation.
Ponty Pridd Transport and Logistics: Embracing the future with solar power
Ponty Pridd, a professtional transport and logistics company, has been in operations for 12 years. Safi Power installed a grid tied solar power installation to substantially reduce daytime power costs at Ponty Pridd's headquarters and logistics center. The plant capacity would be approximately 500,000 kWh over its lifetime.
Njoro Canning reduces their carbon footprint
Based in Nakuru, the food processing company specializes in canned, frozen and dehydrated vegetables, spices, jams, desserts, relishes and pickles. Safi Power has handed over phase I of the Njoro Canning Solar Power installation which has a plant capacity of 900 kWh.
Sky Foods Limited goes green with solar
Sky Foods is a soft drink manufacturer that produces the popular TreeTop juice and currently has a machine capacity of 19,500 litres per day. Safi Power was contracted to design, build, and operate a solar facility that would supply power to the manufacturing entity over a period of 20 years. The approximate 100KW project will see Sky Foods realize a saving of approximately 33,739 KWh and 316 tonnes of carbon dioxide over the life of the plant.
